Large copper-like candlestick with dark patina – 69 cm tall – including abbey candle

This decorative candlestick stands about 69 cm high and, thanks to its elegant design and generous dimensions, forms a striking interior object. The warm brass color is enhanced by a lovely dark patina that gives the object an authentic and timeless character.

Based on the visible material characteristics, the color of the metal under the patina, and the natural oxidation present, it is presumably brass. The object bears no visible maker's mark or signature.

The candlestick comes from private ownership and was originally given as a relationship gift on the occasion of a 40th wedding anniversary by an employer. Over the years the object has been carefully maintained and kept.

The condition is good, with normal signs of use and age appropriate to its age and use. The patina and slight oxidation traces contribute to its authentic character.
