Antique 50.76g 12K Gold & Silver Bedouin Bangle Bracelet 51% Gold (XRF Tested) Middle Eastern Dowry Cuff

An exceptional, museum quality example of an authentic antique Middle Eastern Bedouin dowry bangle. While typical Bedouin jewelry is traditionally crafted in silver, this elite exemplar was custom made from a high precious gold silver alloy for a high status dowry (Mahr).
The outer body of the bracelet has been professionally analyzed via X-ray fluorescence (XRF spectrometer) and revealed an elite metallurgy composition containing 51.08% Gold (above 12 Karats) and 32.96% Silver.
With a very substantial weight of 50.76 grams, this is a heavy, robust piece of wearable history. The exterior features masterfully executed high relief granulation clusters forming traditional floral and berry motifs along the central band. The upper and lower borders are meticulously framed with intricate double twisted wire (rope motif) that highlights the rich age patina and golden reflections.
The bangle is fully functional and opens/closes smoothly using the classic, traditional removable split pin mechanism.
Condition: Excellent antique condition with a stunning, untouched natural patina. The hinge and the spring like pin clasp work perfectly.

Note on Magnetism: The bangle and the removable pin are entirely non magnetic. Only the internal fixed axis of the rear hinge shows slight magnetic attraction, which is customary for antique tribal jewelry where a steel/iron core wire was used to ensure the structural strength of the moving hinge.
Good antique condition with an authentic, rich patina. Under high magnification, an ancient, historic test cut is visible on a small area of the decoration (done in the past by a merchant to verify the solid gold silver alloy). This does not affect the stability or the beautiful overall aesthetic appearance of the piece.
