Miklos Németh studied from 1950 to 1954 at the independent art school of Ödön Márffy and was influenced by renowned artists such as István Varga Ilosvai, Emil Gádor and Menyhárt Tóth. Between 1990 and 1998 he served as General Secretary of the Budapest artists’ group ("Buda Artists’ Group").
