Cyril Keller - Magic

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in Saarland.

My artistic journey began in the early 1990s, when I discovered graffiti art for myself. From around 1993 to the end of the 1990s, graffiti was my great passion. During this time, my enthusiasm for colors, shapes and creative expression—the foundation of my current painting—developed.

In 2015 I found my path to abstract art. A completely new creative world opened up for me, and it continues to inspire me to this day. Since then I have devoted myself to abstract painting with great passion and continuously experiment with new techniques, color compositions and image structures.

I am especially fascinated by the unique forms and structures that arise through the scraper technique. Each painting is a new voyage of discovery for me, where intuition, creativity and a spirit of experimentation come together. As a self-taught artist I love constantly evolving and finding new ways to convey emotions and dynamism on the canvas.

Today I deliberately take more time for my art than ever before and look to the future with enthusiasm. My goal is to create works that touch people, spark their imagination and give them joy in the long term.

The most wonderful aspect of abstract art, for me, is its openness. Every viewer discovers something of their own, brings their personal thoughts, feelings and experiences into a painting, and lets it affect them in a uniquely individual way. It is precisely this connection between work of art and viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
