Description from the seller
My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978, in Saarland.
My artistic journey began in the early 1990s when I discovered graffiti art for myself. From around 1993 to the end of the 1990s, graffiti was my great passion. In this time, my enthusiasm for colors, shapes and creative expression developed—the foundation of my painting today.
In 2015 I found my path into abstract art. A completely new creative world opened up to me, one that continues to inspire me to this day. Since then I have devoted myself with great passion to abstract painting and continually experiment with new techniques, color compositions and image structures.
I am particularly fascinated by the unique shapes and textures created by the squeegee technique. Each painting is a new journey of discovery for me, where intuition, creativity and a willingness to experiment come together. As a self-taught artist I love to continually develop and find new ways to bring emotions and dynamism to the canvas.
Today I consciously take more time for my art than ever before and look to the future with great enthusiasm. My goal is to create works that touch people, stimulate their imagination and give them lasting joy.
The most wonderful thing about abstract art, to me, is its openness. Each viewer discovers something of their own, brings their personal thoughts, feelings and experiences to a painting and lets it influence them in a completely individual way. It is precisely this connection between artwork and viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
