Cyril Keller - Lonely Night

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in Saarland.

My artistic journey began in the early 1990s when I discovered graffiti art. From around 1993 until the end of the 1990s, graffiti was my great passion. During this time, my enthusiasm for colors, shapes and creative expression developed – the foundation of my painting today.

In 2015 I found my path to abstract art. A completely new creative world opened up to me, one that continues to inspire me today. Since then I have devoted myself with great passion to abstract painting and continually experiment with new techniques, color compositions, and image structures.

I am especially fascinated by the unique forms and textures that arise from the squeegee technique. Each painting is a new expedition for me, where intuition, creativity, and a spirit of experimentation come together. As a self-taught artist I love continually evolving and finding new ways to bring emotions and dynamism to the canvas.

Today I consciously take more time for my art than ever before and look to the future with enthusiasm. My goal is to create works that move people, spark their imagination, and give them lasting joy.

The best thing about abstract art, for me, is its openness. Each viewer discovers something of their own, brings their personal thoughts, feelings and experiences into a painting, and lets it resonate in a uniquely individual way. That very connection between artwork and viewer makes abstract painting so special to me.
