Cyril Keller - Melted Flower

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in Saarland.

My artistic journey began in the early 1990s when I discovered graffiti art for myself. From about 1993 to the end of the 1990s graffiti was my great passion. During this time my enthusiasm for colors, shapes and creative expression developed – the foundation of my current painting.

In 2015 I found my path to abstract art. A completely new creative world opened up for me, which excites me to this day. Since then I have dedicated myself with great passion to abstract painting and continuously experiment with new techniques, color compositions and image structures.

What fascinates me especially are the unique forms and structures that arise through the squeegee technique. Each painting is a new discovery for me, where intuition, creativity and a spirit of experimentation come together. As a self-taught artist I love to continually develop myself and find new ways to bring emotions and dynamism onto the canvas.

Today I consciously take more time for my art than ever before and look ahead to the future with enthusiasm. My goal is to create works that touch people, spark their imagination and give them joy in the long term.

The most beautiful thing about abstract art for me is its openness. Every viewer discovers something of their own, brings their personal thoughts, feelings and experiences into a picture and lets it work in a completely individual way. It is precisely this connection between artwork and viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
