Description from the seller
My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in the Saarland region.
My artistic journey began in the early 1990s when I discovered graffiti art for myself. From around 1993 to the end of the 1990s, graffiti was my great passion. During this time, my enthusiasm for colors, forms and creative expression developed—the foundation of my painting today.
In 2015 I found my path to abstract art. A completely new creative world opened up for me, a world that still inspires me today. Since then I have been passionately dedicating myself to abstract painting and continuously experimenting with new techniques, color combinations and image structures.
I am especially fascinated by the unique shapes and structures that arise from the scraper technique. Each painting is a new journey of discovery for me, where intuition, creativity and a willingness to experiment come together. As a self-taught artist, I love continually evolving and finding new ways to bring emotions and dynamism to the canvas.
Today I deliberately take more time for my art than ever before and look to the future with great enthusiasm. My goal is to create works that touch people, spark their imagination, and bring them lasting joy.
The most beautiful thing about abstract art, to me, is its openness. Every viewer discovers something of their own, brings their personal thoughts, feelings and experiences into a work, and lets it resonate in a uniquely individual way. It is precisely this connection between artwork and viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
