According to Artprice, Bruno Cantais' market value in 2021 stands at approximately €600–€2,000 for his paintings and multiples/prints, making him a relatively affordable artist for art collectors.
A compulsively prolific and spontaneous creator, Bruno Cantais lives in Lyon; he explores several techniques, ranging from abstract expressionism in the vein of Rauschenberg or De Kooning, to material projections à la Georges Mathieu, to Pop Art collage or Karel Appel’s expressionism, which tread the borders between abstract gesture and figurative representation. But his signature remains this physical painting, this body-worked material, a testament to the artist’s intimate monologue. An artist represented at Galerie Les Couleurs de l'Éternité in France, Gallery Modern Dutch Art in the Netherlands. Listed with Artprice, Drouot and Akoun since 2005. Maeght Atelier in 2005. Recently participated in the Art3f fair in Lyon. Recent exhibitions in Chisinau (Moldova), Cannes, Pézenas and Lyon at the Paul Bocuse Abbey gala evening 2023. In Paris, in a private collection gallery on Île Saint-Louis since 2016. Exhibits in international galleries in Belgium, USA, Italy and Portugal since 2019.
