A wild icon reimagined with a deliberately contemporary insolence.
Sitting at the heart of a graphic universe splashed with red, this chimpanzee quietly enjoys an ice cream, as if the world’s commotion no longer concerns him. His direct gaze, his wool hat and his urban outfit create a humorous scene where attitude becomes the true subject of the work.
Urban Chill distorts the codes of the classic animal portrait to mingle them with street art aesthetics and contemporary urban culture.
