The company Frank Cobb & Co. was founded in Sheffield, England, a famous industrial city internationally known for its production of high-quality cutlery and metalware. The registered trademark "Period Pewter" was an exclusive commercial brand that this company used specifically for its hand-hammered pewter line. The Manufacturing Era This hallmark and the brand "Period Pewter" were actively used between 1926 and 1939/40.
