B. Morah's original acrylic-on-canvas surreal landscape Bosque Ingrávido 85 XL, 100 cm by 75 cm, created in 2026 in Spain, signed by hand, with a multicolour palette, in the Original edition and post-2020 period, sold directly by the artist.
Description from the seller
INGRAVIDE FOREST 85 is part of a series inspired by Magritte and contemporary surrealism.
This work is part of a series that sublimates the natural and the impossible in a single vision. In “Ingravid Forest,” the trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that ties them to the ground. The landscape becomes a stage for the improbable: a forest that is not sustained by the laws of physics, but by the rules of imagination.
The reference to Magritte is not accidental: like him, the artist invites us to contemplate a world where the everyday becomes strange, and the impossible, evident. The trees suspended in the air force us to rethink the concept of the organic and the stable, while the chromatic play — with electric blues, glowing reds, and deep shadows — intensifies the dreamlike atmosphere.
This series raises essential questions: What happens when we take the weight off nature? Can weightlessness reveal another dimension of the landscape, one that is more emotional than physical? “Ingravid Forest” is both a metaphor and a provocation, a visual liberation that challenges logic to reveal a new poetic space.
“Ingravid Forest” in itself already evokes a powerful image: floating trees that challenge not only physics but also our perception of what a forest should be.
