INGRAVID FOREST 107 is part of a series inspired by Magritte and contemporary surrealism.
This work is part of a series that sublimates the natural and the impossible in a single vision. In “Ingravid Forest,” the trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that ties them to the ground. The landscape becomes a stage for the improbable: a forest that does not adhere to the laws of physics, but to the rules of the imagination.
The reference to Magritte is not accidental: like him, the artist invites us to contemplate a world where the ordinary becomes strange, and the impossible, evident. The trees suspended in the air compel us to rethink the concept of what is organic and stable, while the chromatic play — with electric blues, incandescent reds, and deep shadows — intensifies the dreamlike atmosphere.
This series raises essential questions: What happens when we take away the weight of nature? Can weightlessness reveal another dimension of the landscape, one more emotional than physical? “Ingravid Forest” is both a metaphor and a provocation, a visual liberation act that defies logic to reveal a new poetic space.
