Unknown artist - Box - Copper

A Japanese copper lidded box decorated in cloisonne enamel, made during the Meiji period, circa 1900. The exterior is covered in dense polychrome enamel depicting a pattern of flowers and plants. The cylindrical form has a fitted lid. Condition is Good: light surface wear is consistent with age and use; no maker's mark, workshop seal, or hallmarks are present. Buyers should examine the photographs carefully for minor abrasions or surface variation. Weight 217 g, height 12.5 cm, diameter 8.5 cm.
