Porcelain or bone china, characterized by an elegant neoclassical/Art Nouveau style design. Brand: Jewels, pattern name: Mythos and model number: 9537, (accompanied by the shell-shaped logo) identifies high-quality porcelain produced in Japan during the latter half of the 20th century, mainly destined for Western and European markets, often imported for luxury dinnerware collections; the manufacture is renowned worldwide for the superb finish and for the hand-applied “reactive” decorations. It features an intricate outer and inner rim decorated with classical urns, graceful volutes, and geometric motifs. Soft and sophisticated tones, including cream, terracotta/amber, with thin dark outlines. The pattern name Mythos aligns perfectly with the classical motifs of the urn and the Greek medallion visible on the front.
