Description from the seller
PERSI IN THE COSMOS
Marine landscape with stingrayed fish and other fish floating in a space that reminds us of the cosmos.
The fish I paint float light, with their sinuous and elegant movements in a liquid sky without gravity. The fish as a universal archetypal element, as a nexus between different worlds, as an expression of the flow of life and emotions. Fast and fleeting like clouds and thoughts, they embody the delicate balance between serenity and vital impulse.
The water that contains them, an amniotic space in constant motion.
I am interested in the boundary between the real world and the surreal world of my aquatic landscapes in constant transformation.

ABOUT ME
Born in Italy, on the island of Sardinia, in 1963, after stays in New York to study graphic design and then in Milan, I moved to Barcelona in 1991 to work as a graphic designer, and here I began my artistic career which over time has become my profession, my passion, and above all a vital necessity.
I have had solo and group exhibitions in several European cities and my works are in various private collections around the world.
My work is deeply rooted in nature and human emotions; my starring theme is water and fish, two visual universes that share symbolic intensity. The fascination with the fluidity and dynamism of water acts as a guiding thread of my creations and symbolizes constant transformation.
