Description from the seller
LADIES ENTERTAINING THEMSELVES
Part of a series about period films.
This work in particular is based on a frame from Sofia Coppola's film “Marie Antoinette” in which the queen of France drinks tea with her friends in a Versailles salon. It is painted a little blurry, almost unfocused, a realist and dreamlike representation at the same time, where nothing is the same as a second earlier, everything flows and transforms.

ABOUT ME
Born in Italy, on the island of Sardinia, in 1963, after stints in New York to study graphic design and later in Milan, I moved to Barcelona in 1991 to work as a graphic designer and here I began my artistic career which over time has become my profession, my passion and above all a vital necessity.
I have had solo and group exhibitions in several European cities and my works are in various private collections around the world.
My work is deeply rooted in nature and human emotions; my starred theme is water and fish, but also plants and the human figure. Everything that moves and throbs is of interest to my art."
