Andrea Furrer was an Italian painter known as a landscape artist, born in Besozzo in 1890 and died in 1952. He studied at the Brera Academy in Milan and was a pupil of the painter Antonio Piatti.Biography and Artistic ActivityFormazione: He attended the Brera Academy and the school of master Antonio Piatti.Style: He painted landscapes with a strong and vigorous brushwork, drawing inspiration from Domenico De Bernardi.Exhibitions: He exhibited his works at the Promotrice of Turin in 1928, at the Primavera shows in Milan in 1927 and 1928, and at the Sindacali of Como.Notable works: Among his most important paintings are "Dall'isola Comacina", "Valle Lenno" and "In aperta campagna verso sera".
