An oak occasional table in good condition with an oval solid oak top, a trestle base and decorative cutouts, dating to 1850–1900 and made in France.
Description from the seller
In the photo you can see a small oak occasional table, most likely made in the period from the 1920s to the 1940s. Its form nods to Jacobean Revival or Arts & Crafts, which was very popular in Great Britain and Europe in the first half of the 20th century.
* Oval top of solid oak with a profiled edge.
* Trestle-style base (two side supports connected by an ornamental link).
* Distinctive openwork cutouts in the side supports.
* Dark stain and natural patina indicate the piece's age.
* The condition appears to be good – no signs of serious structural damage or large losses.
Such tables were used as:
* lamp table,
* side table,
* telephone table,
* a small living-room table.
