From our private collection, we offer a Tongan club, also known as "Akau tau," made from hardwood. These paddle-shaped clubs date from the 18th to the 20th century and were originally used as weapons or ceremonial objects. The surface of the club offered here is fully adorned with detailed geometric carved patterns. Length: about 91 cm and the weight is 650 grams.

Aus unserer Privatsammlung bieten hier eine tongaische Keule, auch als "Akau tau" aus Hartholz an. 
Diese padelförmigen Keulen stammen aus dem 18. bis 20. Jahrhundert und wurden ursprünglich als Kriegswaffen oder zeremonielle Objekte genutzt.  Die Oberfläche der hier angebotenen Keule ist vollständig mit detaillierten, geometrischen Schnitzmustern verziert. 
Länge: ca. 91 cm und das Gewicht liegt bei 650 Gramm.
