Hermann Bauer, born in 1833 in Heilbronn, Germany.
In 1863 he founded his own silverware factory in Schwäbisch Gmünd.
Early in his career as a silversmith he became famous mainly for his Renaissance jewelry, which was even worn by Queen Olga of Württemberg and soon earned him the nickname “Renaissance Bauer.”
Today the company is still in operation and has made an international name for itself in the Swabian silversmith workshop.
They still stand for quality with a long tradition and artistic jewelry making from high-quality silver and timeless design.
