The vase is richly decorated with Famille Rose enamels with a traditional scene of "Ladies of the Court and children" in a garden, symbol of happiness and prosperity. The reverse is adorned with a long hand-calligraphed poem, adding a literary and artistic dimension highly prized by collectors. The handles are worked in relief with gold highlights.
