Poster dedicated to Le macchine di Munari, a project from 1942 in which Bruno Munari transforms the idea of a machine into a poetic and ironic device. The composition presents itself as a technical diagram only apparently functional: numbers, arrows, and connections guide the eye through a surreal mechanism, in which objects, animals and human gestures coexist in a playful balance. The essential mark and the calibrated use of color convey a light and intelligent vision, which overturns the logic of engineering in favor of fantasy.
