Mid-Century Vase in Ceramics "Arabesque" by Aldo Londi for Bitossi – Italy, 1960s/70s

Elegant vintage ceramic art vase designed by the famous master and artistic director Aldo Londi for the historic Bitossi Ceramiche manufacture (Montelupo Fiorentino, Italy).
The piece dates to the late 1960s / early 1970s and is a perfect example of Italian Mid-Century Modern design. The vase is characterized by the refined decoration of the series "Arabesque".
The central surface features a ochre/sa nap color band entirely incised by stamping with geometric diamond motifs, swirls and small flowers. The flared neck and the base are finished with a rich glossy glaze in olive green tones with iridescent nuances, typical of the production of the era.
An elegant chromatic combination and much less common than the classic Rimini Blu line.

Excellent vintage condition. The item has no cracks, restorations, or chips. The glaze retains its original gloss. Normal and minimal signs of aging on the base.
