Böhmische Art-déco-Likörkaraffe aus blauem Glas, um 1930 - Carafe - Glass

Elegant liqueur or spirit carafe made of richly blue glass, probably produced in Bohemia or the former Czechoslovakia around 1930–1940.

The flat, geometrically faceted form, the sharply beveled edges, and the large, gemstone-cut stopper are characteristic of Art Deco. The numerous facets create intense blue reflections depending on the angle of light.

At three places there are very small, pinpoint nicks or minimal chips on the glass rims. Each of these spots measures less than 1 mm.

The damages were photographed in greatly enlarged macro shots for full transparency. Because of the close-ups they appear much larger and more noticeable than they actually are. In normal viewing they are only minor or only noticeable upon targeted inspection.
