Le Yack presents Roman Holiday, a 40 by 40 cm giclée on canvas, edition limited to 20 signed by the artist with a certificate of authenticity, sold directly from the artist and produced in France in 2020 or later.
Description from the seller
On a coastal road running along a dry-stone wall, a young brunette woman in a white pleated tennis dress, green visor, and sunglasses leans against a vintage aqua-green Vespa, legs crossed, white sneakers, in a laid-back yet confident pose. Behind her, the deep blue sea glitters to the horizon, a rocky coastline foaming on the left. Semiotically, the scene embodies the carefree Mediterranean vacation vibe: the mythical scooter, the immaculate sporty outfit, the noonday sun. The tender green of the Vespa and the visor creates a fresh and rare harmony with the white of the dress and the saturated blue of the sea. A smooth, clean finish, bold blue-toned shadows on the pavement, the solar-illustration spirit of the 1960s.
