Contemporary French artist, Léo Varek today develops a series of pop paintings inspired by street art codes, built around a strong visual energy.
Before this studio work, I completed numerous monumental frescoes, notably in Europe, including a 600 m² intervention in Courchevel, France. This journey directly informs my current approach, more condensed but still guided by visual impact.
Today my works are distributed internationally and shipped worldwide.
Each canvas is handmade in my studio in France, using mixed techniques blending acrylic and aerosol.
I work spontaneously in order to maintain tension in the gesture, strong contrasts, and a true vibrancy of colors.
