R. Robin presents Night garden (XL), an original 2026 acrylic painting on canvas, signed by hand, 100 cm high by 80 cm wide, from Spain, in excellent condition, with certificate of authenticity, sold directly by the artist and shipped rolled in a professional cardboard tube.
Description from the seller
Night Garden belongs to the series Gardens of Memory and presents a landscape suspended between the real and the imagined. A sculptural cactus rises on a geometric platform while, in the background, a sky of interconnected forms evokes constellations or invisible networks that link space with memory. The composition contrasts planes of intense color, minimal volumes, and a quiet atmosphere, where nature is reinterpreted through a contemporary language close to abstraction. Executed in mixed media on canvas, the work explores the balance between architecture, landscape, and symbol, inviting the viewer to build their own narrative from a seemingly simple setting loaded with poetic resonances.
About R.Robin
Robinson Rodríguez García is a visual artist, theater designer, and drawing professor, born in Cienfuegos, Cuba, and based in Spain. He graduated in 2003 from the Provincial Academy of Fine Arts and develops an artistic practice centered on painting and contemporary language, where abstraction, geometry, and a strong symbolic charge converge. Between 2003 and 2005 he taught drawing workshops at the Manuel Ascunce Domenech School of Art Instructors, and between 2006 and 2009 he worked as a costume and scenography designer for the Provincial Council of Performing Arts of Santa Clara, an experience that decisively influenced his spatial and formal conception in the visual arts.
His work has been shown in numerous solo exhibitions in Cuba, with notable presentations at the Provincial Gallery of Art and at institutional spaces in Santa Clara. He has also participated in major group exhibitions and international fairs, including Art Basel Miami, group exhibitions in France, and contemporary art events in the Americas and Europe. In 2017 he took part in art fairs in Mexico. His career is complemented by studies and international workshops related to scenic design and visual creation, forming a multidisciplinary artistic profile that dialogues between painting, space, and the contemporary symbolic experience.
