Recovery approaches resilience as an ongoing process of rebuilding. The balloon dog, a symbol of lightness and innocence, appears in an introspective stance, with a protective collar that evokes fragility, care and the need for time to recover. The image moves away from the idea of perfection to reveal the beauty present in moments of vulnerability.

The graffiti marks that cover the surface of the figure represent the experiences that shape identity.
