Vova Titov is an Estonian born artist with a degree in interior design from the prestigious Herzen University in St. Petersburg. His art is represented by the Saatchi Gallery, with regular auctions on Catawiki.
"At sea"A painting in the tradition of industrial cubism, where the coastal landscape motif dissolves into geometric planes. A wavy, steel-gray ribbon crosses the composition, interpreted as a sea line, and a dark sphere above it resembles a luminary in the sky. Warm ochre-gold tones juxtapose cool gray and bluish planes, creating a sense of the light and air of a coastal space. The vessels at the bottom of the canvas add a still-life motif characteristic of the cubist tradition. The work is signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
