Lacalle presents Poppy essence II, XL, an original acrylic painting (2026) in an abstract geometric style, hand-signed, on a 100 x 100 cm canvas ready for stretchers with finished sides for frameless display, shipped unframed rolled from Spain and in excellent condition, with a certificate included.
Description from the seller
The painting is conceived for mounting on a 100 × 100 cm stretcher. The canvas measures about 114 × 114 cm, approximately, which allows for correct stretching and adjustment. It is painted to fit stretchers up to 3.7 cm thick, with the sides finished for that purpose, allowing display without a frame if desired.
The canvas is sold without a frame and will be carefully shipped rolled in a rigid cardboard tube, properly packaged to ensure safe delivery. Due to the summer holidays, the artwork will be shipped from September 1st onward.
Colors may vary slightly in photographs due to lighting and screen settings.
Provenance: Directly from the artist
Condition: Excellent
Signature: Hand-signed
Certificate: Included
Lacalle's work explores the relationship between color, structure, and spatial perception through geometric abstraction.
Lacalle's work is situated within contemporary abstract art at the intersection between expressive abstraction and compositional rigor.
This piece is especially suitable for collectors seeking a work with strong visual presence in contemporary interiors.
About the artist:
Lacalle is a Spanish artist with a solid career and a coherent pictorial evolution developed over more than a decade of training in the studio of painter and gallerist Nieves Solana (Madrid).
Her work sits in a transitional line between contemporary expressionism and geometric abstraction, with a clearly defined plastic identity where color acts as the structural axis of the composition.
She works on multiple supports (canvas, panel, paper) and techniques (oil, acrylic, mixed media), with particular attention to textures, glazing, and chromatic construction, adding depth and visual richness to each piece.
She has exhibited solo and collectively in various spaces in Spain and Portugal.
The artist has had presence in press and specialized media.
