Labelled `Stainer - - Violin - Germany

Beautiful very old 4/4 Stainer copy from the last quarter of the 19th century. The violin probably comes from Bohemia. The violin looks good, it has only a well-repaired crack that may be as old as 100 years, repaired from the inside. The violin is small for a 4/4 violin, but certainly not a 7/8 violin (see measurements). Extremely suitable as a ladies’ violin
The violin speaks easily and has the typical warm Bohemian sound
