COLLECTOR'S WORK, UNIQUE.

I start a new path in my signature style; as many of you already know I like to blend philosophy with art. In this new collection "Dualidad" it is the result of my years of experimentation, until reaching what will be my signature, playing with the two extremes of steel.

Explanation of the work:

For me, the search for balance both in life and in our actions is fundamental, learning from great philosophers like Aristotle "Virtue lies in the mean" or the studies of Stoic philosophy. I have wanted to represent this concept by leaning on two dualities or extremes: crumpled steel and rigid steel. Separately, each is incomplete; both parts need and complete one another, seeking the harmony that leads us to peace, tranquility, virtue and maturity.

The pursuit of balance often also occurs in other aspects or even in couples, two pairs that seem totally different, and it is in their union where they find a harmonious balance that makes them happy and, having reached this point, for you what does that search for balance between two extremes represent?

José Soler is a sculptor based in Spain whose works have been exhibited internationally, as well as in Miami, France, Monaco, Italy, France, etc. Through each of his pieces, he strives to reveal the melody that lives inside each of us. Soler cites the conversion of cold steel into sculpture as his way of connecting art and philosophy, with what is invisible to our eyes and what can only be perceived with universal feelings.
