Aegis Prime

A helmeted guardian, faceless behind its visor, belongs to a register of armored deities and sentinel figures that predates any of the machine language we might reach for to describe it — Athena behind the aegis, a goddess who was already, in her oldest form, more shield than face.

I use a novel technique of 3d printed metal, bronze in this case, carefully hand refined and naturally patinated.
