Splendid collection specimen: an imposing fossil Mosasaurus jaw fragment, from the famous phosphate deposits of Khouribga, Morocco, one of the world's most renowned sites for marine Cretaceous fossils.
The piece features five natural teeth well aligned along the jawbone, of generous size as you can appreciate when holding it in your hand. The enamel preserves a beautiful coloration ranging from dark brown to amber on the tips, typical of these Moroccan fossils. The crowns are intact, sharp and testify to the full impressive power of the predatory apparatus of these gigantic marine reptiles that dominated the oceans in the age of dinosaurs.
The bone and teeth are natural and authentic; the roots have been restored to ensure maximum stability of the piece over time.
