Chichibu Paris Edition 2018 Whisky, this very limited edition is the result of the blend of 5 casks. 3 of them have the barrel head made of mizunara wood and the other 2 in French oak.
The Chichibu distillery founded in 2007 (started in 2008) by Ichiro Akuto (son of the founder of the Hanyu distillery) distills using 2 Scottish stills custom-made by Forsthy's.
Today the goal of the distillery is to work only from Japanese raw materials: barley, peat and even oak for the manufacture of barrels.
