Nino Caffè (Alfedena, 1908-Pesaro, 1975), Studio for Cardinali, 1973, India ink and watercolor on paper mounted on a jute canvas, 30x20 cm (49x41x4,5 cm including frame), signature and ad personam dedication at bottom right (dedicated to Giulia Vaiani Lisi, owner and founding partner of the Pier Della Francesca Art Gallery in Arezzo), on the back the stamp of the old Pier Della Francesca Art Gallery, Arezzo.
Direct provenance from the artist's studio (with whom the Gallery had a collaborative relationship, organizing two of his exhibitions when he was alive), work never leaving this gallery. Work dedicated to Giulia Vaiani Lisi, owner and founding partner of the Pier Della Francesca Art Gallery in Arezzo and co-curator of the two solo exhibitions of Caffè that took place in the gallery.
Documentation: Certificate of authenticity from the Pier Della Francesca Art Gallery, Arezzo.
Excellent condition: no damage, no restoration, slight homogeneous patina, some small marks, beautiful traditional wooden frame.
