Elegant rectangular French-style frame in Baroque/Napoleon III style, made in gold leaf and hand-carved by Tuscan artisans, glass not included

The frame features carved decoration along the entire perimeter, with linear profiles alternating with ornamental motifs of a vegetal character; the corners are particularly elaborate and present relief decorative elements that extend to the sides.

The surface is characterized by a warm antique gold gilding, with darker and brown tones in the recessed parts and in the more worked areas. The patina gives the whole piece a lived-in and authentic look, enhancing the three-dimensionality of the carving.

Suitable for displaying a painting, a print, a drawing or a mirror, it can be placed in both classical environments and eclectic contexts, where it can be used as an autonomous decorative element.
