Icon - Prophet Elijah - Wood - Hand-painted - 26 x 27 cm

What you see in our photos is a wooden Greek (?) icon depicting the fugitive Prophet Elijah, seated on the rocks, while above in the icon a raven with bread is visible (Elijah, according to biblical tradition, was fed by ravens during the famine). An icon with this depiction is, in our view, not often seen. We have taken good photos, which form part of the description. The icon has in the middle, as you can see, a vertical crack, which is present but not very distracting. We are offering this icon without reserve and hope to receive good feedback from the buyer.
