This model from the G-SHOCK “Mudmaster” series—designed for extreme on-land use where debris and dirt are piled high and scattered everywhere—features a carbon case.
The use of high-rigidity carbon in the case minimizes breakage and deformation, ensuring high water resistance and shock resistance. Additionally, it features a filter to prevent mud from entering, a stainless steel panel back, and a back cover made of impact-resistant fine resin reinforced with glass fiber, providing excellent dust and mud resistance. The bezel also features a three-layer structure with a carbon fiber sheet inserted into fine resin, finished with a design modeled after the fuel cans mounted on off-road vehicles traveling on rough terrain.
In terms of functionality, it measures direction, altitude/barometric pressure, and temperature, and can also track steps. In addition to easy time adjustment via a dedicated app, it includes several useful features such as the “Mission Log” function, which automatically records the altitude measured by the watch and the route tracked by your smartphone in the app.
