Dial: Silver guilloche with outer blue pointer date track
Case Size: 34mm (excluding the crown)
Case Material: Gold-tone

Dial and Hands
The crisp and highly attractive textured dial features a silver surface with a central wavy guilloche pattern, remaining clean with no visible staining or damage. Applied gold-tone Arabic numerals and dart indices provide excellent legibility, surrounded by the signature outer blue pointer date track. The well-preserved gold-tone alpha hour and minute hands contain luminous fills and show minimal signs of oxidation or aging. A striking red crescent-tipped pointer date hand completes the matching dial furniture.

Case and Crystal
The 34mm gold-tone case and smooth integrated bezel display honest wear consistent with regular use. Visible surface scratches and handling marks are present throughout, alongside some wear and minor oxidation on the lug edges and case flanks. The watch is fitted with an unsigned domed gold-tone crown. On the reverse, the display caseback remains in good condition with clear engravings. The domed acrylic crystal is clear, showing no significant scratches, crazing, or chips.

Movement
Visible through the display caseback is the clean Oris caliber 574 automatic movement, marked with 17 jewels and Swiss Made engravings. The caliber features handsome engine-turned finishing on the rotor and presents well with no visible corrosion or damage. The timegrapher records a rate of -20-25s/day. Performing well within expected vintage tolerances; running strong and steady.

Strap
The watch is paired with a burgundy leather strap featuring an alligator pattern. It is an attractive complementary strap in wearable condition, showing light creasing and wear from prior use.

Condition
Good vintage condition. The dial and hands are remarkably clean and well-preserved, standing out as the visual focal point of the watch. The gold-tone case and bezel exhibit surface scratches, handling marks, and minor oxidation on the flanks and lugs, reflecting honest previous wear. The display caseback and domed acrylic crystal remain in very good shape. Supported by the timegrapher data, the movement is performing well within expected vintage tolerances; running strong and steady.

Dimensions
The case measures 34mm in diameter, strictly excluding the crown.

Remarks
This is a highly engaging iteration of a classic Oris design. The combination of the textured silver dial, the bright red crescent date indicator, and the visible mechanical caliber makes this mid-size automatic watch a compelling choice for any collection.

History
The pointer date complication has been a defining feature for Oris since its introduction in the late 1930s. Originally developed for aviators who needed to read the date easily while wearing gloves, the distinctive central hand pointing to an outer calendar track became a hallmark of the independent Swiss brand. During the mechanical renaissance of the 1990s, Oris leaned heavily into this heritage design, producing elegant mid-size models that celebrated traditional watchmaking. These pieces remain highly appreciated by enthusiasts for their classical proportions and enduring charm.
