Spider-Man: Forged by Fire is an original handmade sculpture by contemporary artist NO1R, inspired by themes of resilience, transformation and rebirth. Emerging from a mass of volcanic rock and molten textures, the figure appears to be forged within the earth itself, as if rising from an eruption where destruction gives way to new strength.

Created from an original digital sculpture designed by the artist, the piece was produced using high-quality PLA through 3D printing before being individually assembled and transformed by hand. Expanding polyurethane foam was carefully sculpted to recreate the appearance of flowing lava and volcanic rock, giving the work a powerful organic presence. The entire sculpture was then hand-finished with metallic spray paints in Bright Copper and deep black, creating striking contrasts between glowing molten surfaces and cooled volcanic crust.

Rather than depicting the character in a familiar pose, this work presents an entirely original composition imagined by the artist. It blends contemporary pop culture with sculptural abstraction, exploring ideas of endurance, inner strength and the ability to emerge stronger after adversity.

The result is a unique contemporary sculpture that combines digital craftsmanship with traditional hand-finishing techniques, making every piece an individual work of art.
