Davide Nunziante - Iliàs

My icon of the great match, a symbol of the human being between what has already happened and what is to come, this time also taking center stage in the roles of Hector and Andromache. Like in a theatrical performance, on the left a tower belonging to the walls of the city of Ilion, on the right a temple to symbolize the Greek people. In the background, Achilles in dialogue with his inner 'Self' awaits the Trojan prince. A tribute to the Iliad and to Greek mythology.

The work is created with traditional oil colors on cotton canvas.
