CORUM BUBBLE CHRONOGRAPH WATCH (REF. 396.150.20): We present at auction one of the most iconic and bold watches in contemporary Swiss watchmaking. Launched in the year 2000 under the direction of Severin Wunderman, the Corum Bubble broke all molds with its design inspired by experimental diving watches from the 1960s.
The undisputed centerpiece of this piece is its monumental 8 mm domed sapphire crystal. This crystal not only offers exceptional durability, but also acts as a magnifying lens, creating fascinating visual distortions of the dial depending on the viewing angle.
The solid 45 mm polished stainless steel case houses a high-precision Swiss quartz chronograph movement. The black dial features luminescent hands and markers, three silver subdials for time measurement, the date window at 6 o’clock, and the unmistakable stylized arabic numerals of the collection. The screw-down case back guarantees 200 meters (660 ft) of water resistance.

Bidders are requested to read the state description carefully and review the photo gallery:
Case and Crystal: In magnificent aesthetic condition. The highly polished steel shows only very light micro-scratches consistent with occasional careful use. The massive sapphire crystal is pristine, with no dents or scratches.
Movement: The quartz caliber runs correctly, as do the chronograph pushers and the reset to zero.
Strap and Clasp (Important): The original stainless steel deployant clasp functions perfectly. The outer leather strap is in good condition, but the inner lining is severely cracked, pealing, and deteriorated by time (a very common wear in materials from this series). It is fully functional, but the future buyer might wish to replace the strap in the medium term. (Sent without original box or documentation).
