Maurizio Valch (born 1972) signs this original abstract acrylic painting titled '(XL) NEXUS' (2026), 105 cm by 75 cm, with a green field and red geometric blocks, hand-signed and in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
NEXUS's composition invites a visual immersion into a deep space. On a vast field of dark green, the interplay between the quietness of the color and the asymmetrical arrangement of the elements creates a unique spatial tension. The light is distributed evenly, allowing the chromatic intensity of green to serve as a backdrop for the forms that emerge.
Three rectangular blocks, in vibrant crimson with accents of turquoise blue, present with an apparent material texture through impasto and possible scratching. These shapes float or rest on the field, accompanied by shadows or darker reflections that suggest a duality between the surface and depth. Two thin, wavy white lines run across the canvas, introducing an organic element that contrasts with the blocks' geometry and establishes subtle horizons or fluid divisions.
Condition and shipping
The work is in excellent condition, with no damage or restorations.
The work is shipped unframed and unstretched, carefully rolled inside a protective tube to ensure safe delivery.
About the artist
Maurizio Valch is a visual artist, writer, and graphic designer. His work explores metaphysical territories, symbolic landscapes, and the relationship between geological space and human consciousness.
Through dark fields, incised surfaces, monolithic forms, and structural divisions, Valch creates paintings that suggest the emergence of perception within the territory itself.
