Aldo Casadei - - Classical guitar - Italy - 1977

An artisanal classical guitar made in 1977 by the Italian luthier Aldo Casadei, active in Ravenna and known for building bowed and plucked instruments.
The instrument features traditional construction with a solid spruce top, back and sides in mahogany, neck in mahogany, fingerboard and bridge in rosewood (or similar wood), enhanced by a classic mosaic rosette.
The guitar is stringless and offered for stringing and inspection. As it has not been checked by a luthier, it is sold as an instrument to be inspected before use.
From the photographs you can see the usual signs of time and wear, consistent with the instrument’s age.
Original luthier’s label inside the soundbox. On the headstock the construction date 1977 is inscribed.
An interesting Italian luthier-made guitar, suitable for someone who wishes to restore it to full efficiency as well as for a collector interested in handcrafted instruments from the late twentieth century.
Sold with a padded case.
