Description from the seller

Milano I is an original handmade cyanotype created from the artist's own film photograph, capturing the intricate Gothic architecture and panoramic skyline of Milan from the rooftop of the Duomo. The historic cyanotype process transforms the image into luminous shades of Prussian blue, emphasizing the rhythm of sculptural spires, delicate stone tracery, and the atmospheric depth of the city beyond.

Each print is individually hand-coated and exposed on high-quality watercolor paper, making every impression subtly unique. The characteristic brush marks and tonal variations celebrate the handcrafted nature of the cyanotype process, giving the work a timeless and tactile presence.

This piece brings together historical photographic techniques and contemporary fine art photography, creating a striking architectural artwork for collectors who appreciate alternative photographic processes and limited-edition prints.
