Not a very common wooden Calvary group with Christ on the cross – possibly by the ANRI workshop.

Beautiful wooden Calvary group consisting of a central cross with the crucified Christ, flanked by the Virgin Mary and the Apostle John.

The composition rests on a beautifully designed wooden pedestal and forms a classic example of Christian devotional art.

The whole piece has been carved with great attention to detail and finished in a warm, subtle polychromy.

The style and execution strongly recall religious sculptures from the renowned ANRI atelier.

Condition: Good condition with light wear and age-related traces. The right arm has undergone a repair.
