ART PRESS:
"There is an almost cinematic dimension in this composition. Alinghi plays with depth of field and motion blur on the arm to concentrate all sharpness on the face. This is not an image of contemplation, it is an image of confrontation. The balance between the softness of natural light and the hardness of the gaze creates a work of character, far from the sleek canons of fashion."
Born in Switzerland in 1996, Alinghi developed an early passion for photography, starting his practice at the age of 12. He then formalized his approach by pursuing university studies in photography and was quickly recognized by his peers, winning several prizes for the quality of his work.
Alinghi defines himself as an eclectic photographer, but his work focuses mainly on two distinct domains: artistic nude photography and motor sports.
In his work around the female figure, he seeks to capture the essence of beauty that is both wild and raw and of a harmonious serenity. His goal is to highlight these subtle contrasts through the development of dedicated photographic series.
Alinghi presents his work on his website and in average organizes one solo exhibition per year to share his latest creations.
"The photographer aims to explore the body in its natural environment, seeking authenticity and emotion rather than mere aesthetics." U.G.
