Mara. J XL - Gilded Amethyst

The purple spans the entire surface, clear and bright at the top, growing increasingly dense and saturated toward the bottom. On this background, golden leaves rest, applied with delicacy, concentrating in the central band in a diffuse glow. Very thin green stems rise from the base and cross the field, holding the composition together with a light rhythm. Under the gilding, other leaves are glimpsed, barely hinted, almost in filigree, giving depth to the color. It is a time of low light in which the purple warms and every leaf seems to hold a reflection.
